Rules clarification: Leadership and Minions

Can only Mastermind Archetypes buy powers for there NPC they earn for their Leadership? Also if the Mastermind has a NPC with a certain archetype is that character limited to that archetype maximums?

Um...we'll go with no, you can buy them powers too.

Yes, they are limited to the specific archetype maximum you choose for them when you start buying them powers.

Um...we'll go with no, you can buy them powers too.

Yes, they are limited to the specific archetype maximum you choose for them when you start buying them powers.

Can you make a robot archetype so I can make my Minions robots? :D

Why not just make them the other archetype and say they are robots? Razor Bot, Bot-Fu and Ed 209.

I think using other archetypes for robots is fine. *sniff* ;)

1) Can only leaders buy extra clicks of life for their Onions (by sacrificing their own)?
2) How do you get more than one minion?

I even had to use my L33T HTMl skillz to remember ORANGE since it was not a choice in this forum's font colours. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

The rules say that the Leader/Mastermind can buy UP TO 2 POWERS for their henchmen. Does that mean 2 DIFFERENT kinds of powers, or just a maximum of 2 powers on the dial?

Could I suggest that if a hero were to buy an additional slot of leadership that they could either sack a click to give to their minion or buy a third power for their minion? It would give characters a reason to buy more leadership.
