Imperial Campaign 8 - DARKNESS RISING

The Imperial Campaign is back. This is an ongoing heroclix event which will span 7months (1event per month). Players will need to choose a thematic team which they will play for the whole campaign. Players start with a team of 400pts which acts as a sideboard from which you will choose from for each scenario. As you play the scenarios, players earn points to recruit new characters or improve on existing ones. At the time being, all characters must be 100pts or less, however the campaign-master will unlock more expensive characters as the campaign progresses. No special objects or resources are allowed. Only one vehicle is allowed. The campaign features scenarios instead of all straight up - smash your opponent match. Playing thematic is strong encouraged, as is playing in character. Evilness is encouraged. Please do not use characters which are overly confusing.

TEAM BUILDING

Use non-generic keywords but they are not the be all end all. Think thematic. (You can also use the old campaign docs as a reference)
eg
"Gotham City" - has both villains and heroes.
"Police" has both villains and heroes.
"Spiderman Family" is a new keyword and should include characters such as Black Cat, Spider Girl etc.

Bottom line, use your judgement. HOWEVER, if you include non-thematic elements, I (and my "thematic" team specialists- Evan, Leo) may ask you to remove a charater from your team. Please dont take it personally.

As for Vehicles. Only one Bat-vehicle on Batman Family teams, only Wonder-jet on Amazon team, and PD can only have 3 vehicles (1 cruiser max, and Bikes must include Bike cops).
Merging characters, alter-egos, colossal and giants are all allowed. Characters which spawn other characters (Mastermold, Zuvembies, Ultron) are allowed too as per standard rules.

- All characters at any pointage are unlocked. Team bases, vehicles are also unlocked.
- Special objects and resources are unlocked however only if they are thematic to the team.

Month 6 will have a minimum of 170pts available and possible 260pts. This will lead into the finale in October where you will all be "Consumed by the darkness"

Manny I am SOOOO GLADDDD!!! U are not doing catchup anymore.
Personally, I feel u miss game day u can play a catchup game or 2 but never really compete to those who show to play.

You work too hard on Campaigns to be chasin' pplz.

Campaign month 6 on Sept 7. If you have a copy of the new map from the Fear Itself scenario pack (Grey Gargoyle Holding Facility), please bring it.

Month 6, lots of point available.

New players are still welcome as are players who have taken a short break, 1000pts themed team. Resources, vehicles, special objects are allowed if they are thematic to your team.

I would like to thank everyone who participated in this campaign.

Campaign will return in the new year with a new villain and new fun. For those who were at the finale, I promise that the final villain won't be a mystic. The theme is still to be confirmed however I believe I do have a frontrunner. More details to come in the new year.
