HorrorClix Complete Rules

Postby airdomin8 » Wed Jun 16, 2010 9:59 am

I've tried finding the rules online, but all the links I've discovered seem disabled.

Has anybody saved the rules onto their computer as a .pdf or something?

I guess killing bystanders gets the figures "blooded." As I understand, that gives them full-movement charge? Where do the bystanders get placed then? Do bystanders get to move (ie. run for their lives)?

So many ?s

I might be able to find you a hard copy of the base rulebook (I bought a few starters).

The BESTEST person to ask for rules would be DarkestThicket, 'cause he is the local HorrorClix GURU!

EDIT: And try THIS LINK

I will bring it to wherever you play Heroclix. Let me know here or by PM. :D :D :D

Why did you guys buy so many starter sets? Is there a "must have" assortment of figures?

For me, it was to get an extra set of 3D terrain and an extra map. Also, none of the figures in the starter were reprinted in the regular set (although the vampire was done as an LE).

I might have a bunch. I know there's one on the floor by my bed since last campaign day people dumped a whack of Horrorclix stuff on my lap.

In response to your Q's I have the following answers.

1.) Blooded is a full movement charge but their printed damage value becomes 1. This can be boosted by powers such as Slash, or Savagery or whatnot.
2.) Bystanders (Victims) are placed on blood spots on the map face down. If you're using a heroclix map you just kind of have to wing it...here's an example of a map with the blood splats. http://www.flickr.com/photos/76106906@N00/2424484006/
3.) Once per turn you flip a victim and it can move it's printed movement value, they can be saved/killed using plot twists that you have in hand.

If you wanted to come to campaign day next Saturday a bunch of us there could give you a show and tell before or after the campaign. Also the last scenario of my campaign will involve a zombie attack on the heroes of the Capes campaign where the zombies will be using horrorclix rules and the heroes the Heroclix :)

Gentlemen,

Thank you all for your replies! I shall do my best not to "cheat" when using HorrorClix against my buddy (ie. victim) whom I explained to that HorrorClix are somewhat compatible with HeroClix.

Cheers!

It is some what compatible. Tonight I ran my Aliens and Predators against AGENTS of B.I.L.L. (which is our Marvel Villain RPG team based on CAPES! rules for Heroclix) It was so good. We had a blast and you shouldn't have to worry about it being too much of a hassle. The only thing that may confuse your friend is that the colours of powers in Horrorclix have nothing to do with the ones in Heroclix. :D :D :D
