He's ugly. But I am growing ever concerned with his presence. It could get ugly (almost as ugly as him).

Are there any official rulings on ziran yet?

If i were to place a uatu the watcher and a kryptonite special object that allows characters within 4 squares to use smoke cloud and mind control, does that qualify my character for being able to use those powers on their opening click?

I would think it would be a yes, since objects are placed between steps 1 and 2 of setup, and it seems that uatu is to be placed once only when you place your force on the map........ziran's test happens at the beginning of the game.

Any thoughts?????

Here's a thought for you. Shouldn't I have FRI and be protected from Ziran's test?

ziran's test happens "at the beginning of the game",so FTI doesn't apply, as per definition for FTI in rulebook.

Ziran's "Testing" is the most broken thing in the game of Heroclix. No figure should be able to do 6 unavoidable damage to any opposing figs (divided however the player chooses) before the game has even started. Stupidest thing ever.

Great in a scenario, where you're planning on beating a Celestial... terrible in a "real" game. I hate it. :x :x :x

Next is Thanos' Draw the Enemies power. Shouldn't be able to whack someone on the first turn of the game with your killbox. Awful. Makes Nightcrawler look tame (though the point differential should suggest that as well). At least 'crawler had to hit someone to drag them back (limited within his movement)!!

Okay, so it's confirmed.

1) Galactus is managable (tough, but can be controlled).
2) With the errata, Chanos can be shut down (thank you Leech, Adam, etc)
3) Ziran is a major pain in the posterior and the testing trait is ridiculously stupid. It can be overcome, but wow, he sucks the life right out of the game.

what errata are you talking about for Thanos? Have erratas come out for the new sets?
Rocket Raccoon: His people are entirely literal. Metaphors go right over his head.
Drax the Destroyer: Nothing goes over my head. My reflexes are excellent and I would catch it.

They added the word "target" to his SP which keeps him from breaking First Round Immunity, that's all.
But it's enough to get Leech near him, or Adam Warlock, or Dirk plus an outwitter, etc. Basically, it gives you a chance.
