1:
So yer asking for ideas Sir Rob.
What are your team ideas beyond Talia "see thru stealth outwitter with MM and Psychic Blast''?

2:
Patricia, with Lampost Batman, will he be effective against stealthy HSS Ms Marvel Skrull? He seems to be a Lunger whole might like some TK to at least throw down with her.

3:
The more I muse, the more I'm liking Stardust for the Power Cosmic, 19 defense with Super Senses, phasing for mobility as a carrier, and mid-dial HSS if an opponent gets a smack in.... with Regen being an amusing toss in.
I'm trying to conceive of permutations that permit Talia, Stardust, and 2 MM fodder figs for Talia so that one could position on Ms Marvel Skrull for the Outwit and begin the dissection. 20pt Talia being a preferred MM fodder, but whose gonna carry for 23 points?

On a totally unrelated note...

I am trying to make a team with Talia and 2 GCPD but can't quite make the points work. I was thinking I wanted prob on there and a couple of carriers.

si013 si013: Rookie Fantastic Four (tm) Lightspeed (tm) 25
aa006 aa006: Veteran Police (tm) Gotham City Detective (tm) 27
jl001 jl001: Veteran Batman Ally (tm) Batman (tm) 75
aa006 aa006: Veteran Police (tm) Gotham City Detective (tm) 27
cr022 cr022: Experienced Legion of Superheroes (tm) Dawnstar 60
And Talia is 300pts

This team wants prob and perplex but does have 2 out witters and 2 solid Taxis.

II can copy stealth and pd with Dawnstar and get a +1 to attack on a single character. it has potential but like I said it wishes for prob and perplex.

In your case Prob isn't needed ;) :P :P :P I keed I keed.
However I see the quandry with missing said powers. With PC and Outwit you can usually forgoe the Perplex as defense powers will be nullified and your odds of hitting are decent with 2 kicks at the can. Maybe the Batman needs to be replaced? Considering Talia should have the Outwit covered, you could shop around?
Consider something like Stardust, 2 outwitters suddenly look not-so-hot. I don't doubt there will be some Power Cosmic / Quintessence running about.

I was thinking about the high Def. teams like Stardust. I should be able to get my attack up to 12 pretty easily with the above team but would prefer to have a prob'r on the team.

Ghost Fox Kill: Poison and PC (and Super Senses).

Shadow Demon or Shimmer both have Poison and Blades - but not PC.

Ghost Fox doesnt get PC until her second click, I doubt Rob wants to mess around with that.

How about:

Talia 86
GPD 27
GPD 27
Robin (AA) 66 (perplex and also has incap attack through stealth via smoke cloud)
Jimmy Woo 46 (ldrship and perplex and SHIELD for range bump... or additional DMG)
Jason Blood 44 (prob with opportunity to upgrade to etrigan with perplex/prob/BCF)

This is not as mobile as the Dawnstar/Batman combo, but allows for way more damage and still has 4 pts to play with
Could change out a GPD for a White Checkmate Knight (enhance and outwit - 29pts - NO TA :()

EDIT: just re-read and see that this team has no taxis... sigh.

There is lots of good figures on this team but like you said no Taxi's. You could drop a GPD and throw in a Lightspeed or Guardian (flyin shield guy?) but the mobility still isn't quite there.

I'll just say he was the worst sportsman, tried to bully people and was generally despised by all.

Concurring with a few more posts, these figures are AWESOME for the points:

Stardust - I won Galactus with this figure. Simply awesome set of powers!

Question (AA) - a giant-killer for 37 pts with outwit / perplex, stealth & willpower

Dawnstar - HSS, willpower, wildcard and special power that helps the whole team

FCBD Iron Man (M&M) - 10 range, team ability for wildcards and a neat defence power (though I'm never lucky enough to land on it a second time). Speaking of luck...

Scarlet Witch - free move, 35-pt taxi w/ probability control

Bronze Tiger - Very solid close-combat tie-up figure for the points

Gamora - Arguably the deadliest close-combat figure in the game

Venom (HoT) - When this figure is coupled with a feat (the name escapes me, something linked with Shape Change), he is probably the best tie-up figure in the game. I don't think I've ever defeated an opponent who played this figure right.

Looks like another little wrinkle: http://heroclix.com/blog/2010/06/03/gencon-2010/
Day 1 - Sealed with BntB boosters - you can handle that
Day 2 - 300pt Modern Age 50% Floor (BnB) - could be a weird build

Undefeated players from Day 1 and 2 go to the finals (Top 8)
Eight more with the best records from Day 1/2 cumulative get called on Sunday to enter the finals.

Then it's the Modern Age constructed.

Sounds like fun!!
(Actually, the King of the Hill event sounds like crazy fun)

Here is one of the teams I have been toying with and I want to see what you guys think...

aa006: Veteran Police Gotham City Detective 27
aa006: Veteran Police Gotham City Detective 27
bb019: Veteran Batman Ally Superman Ally Talia 86
av057: Rookie Avengers Scarlet Witch 35
aa099: Unique Batman Ally Batman 120
+ some 5 point pog not sure which one most likely for MM fodder so Talia can take a big hit.

It only has one Taxi so I don't like the aboveone as much....

I was thinking of this team as well but am unsure of my last 65 points.

aa006: Veteran Police Gotham City Detective 27
aa006: Veteran Police Gotham City Detective 27
bb019: Veteran Batman Ally Superman Ally Talia 86
av057: Rookie Avengers Scarlet Witch 35
cr022: Experienced Legion of Superheroes Dawnstar 60

I wanted to fit 66pt robin onthe above team but I would be disquailified since it would be 301 I was thinking about Ed Nigma LE with his semi Warbound and a 5 point pog but I was looking for a perplexer so I can break a wall. This version of the team can't natually break a wall which is never a good thing. I really want perplex as well. I like Dawnstar as a Taxi and Scarlet wich is a little underwelming with her 7 move (5 when taxiing) but she is pulling double duty with her awesome Prob.

Rob, sounds like you need to play-test this team. Consider against an opponent with a 20 - 50 pt (100pt?) advantage. I did this to help prepare for the Coming of Galactus tournament (among others). The practice matches were among the best beatings I ever took; my opponent designed teams specifically to counter my own. And when I won the Big G, I looked back and thought it was totally worth it.

I would be happy to volunteer my services provided you consider making the Punisher your Champion's "figure of choice" when you win the big tourney.

I would love you help playtesting. that sounds like a great idea. I will make the punisher the figure of my choice if I get one.

Yellow Lantern kind of seems like a decent taxi with his push and get 18 Defend for 65 points.

If you are going with a WC abuse team, you definitely need a cheap Watchmen figure.

S.I.F. is no longer a factor - it has been amended to the 'intended' interpretation of not affecting terrain tokens.
