Maneuver..... JUDGES HELP!!!!

Postby MadWuher » Tue Apr 08, 2008 11:20 am

Hi Guys.....

Just read this and wondering if a judge could confirm this...

#F102 Maneuver
Prerequisite: Boot Speed Symbol, Close Combat Expert or Combat Reflexes
Cost: 8
Choose a character. When the character makes a close combat attack against a target opposing character, after the attack is resolved, put the target in any unoccupied square adjacent to the character.

Somebody has said that it is Boot OR CCE OR Combat reflexes and provided a copy of the following.

Quoted in the judges forum????:

Could someone confirm this???? Is this really in the judges forum?? Or are they trying to pull a fast one?

If this is true, all grounded HSS figs will be amazing.

Yes, V Black Adam qualifies for the feat. All feats that list multiple prereqs are default 'Or' unless it states 'And' like Brilliant Tactician or Fastball Special, etc.

Oh, yes. I have experienced the pain of this little feat.

It even affects double-based transporters and colossal figures.

Wow, borken.
The other thing with the card is you don't have to hit, and it isn't specific on it not working against any figure type.
So theoretically a figure can miss Galactus, and then move Galactus.
So I'm looking at the card as an amusing means to get big G within range to attack with any figure, and then Maneuvering him back into his starting zone because you can swing his base.
Swing him up to you, then swing him back.... :D

Of course the two figs will get melted the next turn! It would be funny to see.

I am going to try a team with LE Wally West, run up, hit somebody with HSS, yank them out of their position and force blast them into a wall or off a building. I love this feat!

Better yet, force blast them towards the other 240 points of your team.
